Union City, TN — The Northwest Tennessee Tourism Association will host the 4th Annual NWTN Legislative Breakfast on Friday, May 22, at Discovery Park of America in Union City. This annual event brings together business leaders, community members, tourism partners, and elected officials for a morning of meaningful conversation focused on the issues shaping Northwest Tennessee.
Presented by Total Tech Solutions, with additional support from Tennessee Farm Bureau, Gibson Electric Membership Corporation, and Abbotts Print Shop, the Legislative Breakfast continues to serve as a key opportunity for regional connection and collaboration.
Doors will open at 8:30 a.m., and guests are encouraged to arrive around 9:00 a.m., as breakfast and the program begin.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from and engage with Northwest Tennessee’s state legislators, including Senators John Stevens and Ed Jackson, and Representatives Tandy Darby, Rusty Grills, Chris Hurt, and Brock Martin. The discussion will be moderated by Scott Williams, President and CEO of Discovery Park of America, offering a guided but open conversation around the topics that matter most to the region.
While tourism remains a vital economic driver across Northwest Tennessee—with more than $317 million in direct visitor spending in 2024—the Legislative Breakfast is designed to go beyond a single industry. Conversations will reflect a wide range of issues impacting rural communities, including economic development, workforce, infrastructure, small business growth, and quality of life.
“This event is about creating space for honest, productive dialogue, and NWTN Tourism is proud to host it,” said Kasey Muench, Executive Director of NWTTA. “We want people in the room who care about the future of Northwest Tennessee. Every voice matters in shaping where we go next.”
All are welcome to pull up a seat, join the conversation, and play a role in the ideas, solutions, and momentum driving Northwest Tennessee forward.
