Elaine was born on December 13, 1960, in Paris, TN, to the late R.G. and Frances Davenport.

She married Brian Walker on December 26, 1977. Brian survives of Paris, TN.

Elaine graduated from Henry County High School in 1979. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Homemakers Club and served as Chapter Historian for the United Daughters of the Confederacy – Paris Chapter 2521. She was also a member of the Henry County Historical Society. Elaine enjoyed crocheting and cherished spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Chip (Parveen) Walker of Murfreesboro, TN, and Dr. Katie Walker of Murray, KY; three brothers, Al (Vivian) Jenkins of Lakeland, FL, David (Teresa) Jenkins of Paris, TN, and Phil (Mary Ann) Jenkins of Tucson, AZ; three grandchildren, Olivia Walker, Griffin Payne, and Declan Payne; and one sister-in-law, Becky Davenport of Paris, TN.

Along with her parents, Elaine was preceded in death by one brother, Don Davenport.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. Her remains are to be cremated with the service held Thursday, May 14 at Ridgeway Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Jeff Rudy.
