Paris Native Cherry Jones has been nominated for another Emmy.
Jones is nominated in the category of Guest Actress, Drama, for her role in “The Handmaid’s Tale”. Other actresses nominated in her category are Diana Rigg, “Game of Thrones”, Viola Davis, “Scandal”, Kelly Jenrette and Samira Wiley, both also of “The Handmaid’s Tale”, and Cicely Tyson for “How To Get Away With Murder”.
Jones won the Best Actress Emmy in 2009 for her work as President Allison Taylor in the television series ‘24’. She also has won two Best Actress Tony Awards for “The Heiress” and “Doubt”.
The 70th Primetime Emmy Awards will be aired on September 17.
