Paris, Tenn.–US Congressman David Kustoff (R-8th District) visited Paris last week managing to visit a wide variety of stops. Organized by the Paris-Henry County Chamber of Commerce, Kustoff made stops at Tosh Farms, Rhea Elementary School, Henry County High School, Henry County Medical Center, Paris City Hall and Sweet Jordan’s. He also met the High School Madrigals and heard them sing.
“We had a good balance of showing off some of the great things happening in our County, and explaining to him some of our needs,” Chamber Director Travis McLeese said. “Thankfully we had the majority of the day with Congressman Kustoff, which allowed him to hear the Madrigals sing, meet some of the team members at Sweet Jordan’s, and talk with the Leadership Henry County group. We also gave some of the staff members at Henry County Medical Center the ability to communicate the healthcare needs we are facing.”
Congressman Kustoff said, “It is always great getting to spend the week back home in West Tennessee. Thank you to the Paris-Henry County Chamber for hosting me. Meeting constituents like Brad and Tommie (St. John) from Sweet Jordan’s and seeing firsthand the hard work the students put in at Henry County High School is inspiring. When I head back to DC, I promise to ensure the voice of Tennessee’s 8th district continues to be heard.”
