Dorena-Hickman Ferry Reopens, May Have To Close Again This Week

Hickman, Ky.–The Dorena-Hickman Ferry has now reopened today, Monday, April 1. Due to high water, the ferry has been closed since February.
Ferry operators said today they anticipate they will have to close again later this week due to more high water in the forecast. They will post the information on their Facebook page and WENK/WTPR will post it on our website and Facebook pages, too.
The ferry service provides transportation across the Mississippi from Hickman, Ky. to Dorena, Missouri.
