Henry County High School Ag Program Named Outstanding Program Of Year

Gatlinburg, Tenn. – The agriculture education program at Henry County High School in Paris has been named the Tennessee Association of Agricultural Educators Outstanding Program Award recipient, selected at the 2019 TN FFA State Convention in Gatlinburg, Tenn. March 25.
Henry County High School will compete this summer to be named the Region 5 winner and for a trip to the National Association of Agricultural Educators convention in Anaheim California. The advisors of the program are Ryan Inman and Laura Moss.
 
A goal of NAAE is to promote outstanding programs in agricultural education and effectively communicate success stories. The Outstanding Middle/Secondary School Ag Ed Program Award promulgates that goal. Agricultural education programs in middle schools and secondary schools are eligible to participate in this recognition program.
 
NAAE is the professional organization in the United States for agricultural educators. It provides its’ more than 8,000 members with professional networking and development opportunities, professional liability coverage, and extensive awards and recognition programs. The mission of NAAE is “professionals providing agricultural education for the global community through visionary leadership, advocacy and service.”  The NAAE headquarters are in Lexington, Ky.
