Henry County Sheriff’s Office: In a week of remembering our veterans, Barry Hart donated an American flag and a Tennessee flag to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office in memory of his fellow friend and classmate of Grove of 1967, Marine PFC Earl W. Harris. Harris.
Hart, a decorated Vietnam veteran, wanted to donate the flags in honor of his friend, classmate and fellow service member, Marine PFC Earl W. Harris. Harris was killed in action on February 28th 1968 at Khe Sanh in the Republic of South Vietnam.
Sheriff Monte Belew said, “The Henry County Sheriff’s Office will proudly fly the American Flag in remembrance of Earl Harris and all the other veterans that defended our freedom both at home and around the world”.
