Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Sheriff’s Office SRO Help Unit begins operating today. They will assist home bound countians receive essential items, including food and medications that they need.
As we reported Monday, Sheriff Monte Belew said the SRO Help Unit will begin doing welfare checks of all Henry Countians Countians in need effective Tuesday, March 24, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The School Resource Officers (SROs) will have assistance of some Metro Crime Unit and patrol officers.
If you elderly and don’t feel safe going out or have health complications, Belew said, call the non-emergency number at the sheriff’s office at 731 642 1672 and the unit will be able to help.
