Martin, Tenn.–In coordination with Dr. Patel in Union City, the Weakley County Young Professionals are requesting supplies to create face masks to provide to medical professionals in our area and around the country.
Group members said, “We have gathered a group of people willing to sew (including some senior citizens looking for an activity to fill their days). The supplies list and drop-off locations for the supplies are below. All supplies will be washed before the sewing process.”
Supplies:
Cotton Fabric in at least 10″x6″ sections. (12″x12″ is preferable)
Elastic band or shoe strings
Drop Off Locations:
Martin Police Department – a container will be in the lobby
Sharon Fire Department – a container will be at the front door
Dresden Senior Citizen
