
Paris, Tenn–Effective immediately the City of Paris Parks will be closing. This includes playgrounds, picnic pavilions, dog park, tennis courts, basketball courts and the skate park.
City Officials said, “This decision is made in an effort to protect our community from the spread of the COVID 19 virus. This does not include our walking tracks. We ask that if you choose to utilize the walking tracks, please practice the recommended social distancing of six feet apart.”
Officials said, “This is not an easy decision to make, however, at this time we feel that we must take such measures to protect our community. Everyone is encouraged to please practice the recommended precautions provided so that our community and our country can save lives and return to our everyday routines. This can only occur if we all do our part.”
