Paris, Tenn.–Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper Adam Killion of Paris returned home from Vanderbilt Medical Center Monday afternoon after battling the COVID-19 virus since early April.
His wife, Beth, has been keeping family and friends posted on his condition and steady progress in combating the virus and Monday’s post on Facebook was the best one yet.
Beth informed everyone that Killion was ‘exhausted but he is home! He just needs to rest, regain strength and weight…”
She thanked everyone for the support and prayers during his illness and hospital stay. “It has meant so very much,” she said.
Trooper Killion will continue his rehab at home.
His condition turned critical earlier this month and he was airlifted to Vanderbilt Medical Center from the Henry County Medical Center in Paris, where he had been hospitalized. Facebook was flooded with well wishes and prayers from the community.
Since his family could not be with him while he was hospitalized because of the COVID-19 restrictions, a parade past the Killion’s home was organized by the THP and dozens of people drove past and waved to show their concern on April 10.
