Graves County COVID-19 Positive Cases Now At 97

Mayfield, Ky.–The number of positive COVID-19 cases in Graves County is now at 97.

The number of cases has been steadily increasing, with 10 new cases reported since yesterday when the total was 87. This is an increase from 82 reported Tuesday and a jump from 68 cases reported Monday.

The bulk of the cases stem from an outbreak at the Mills Nursing and Rehab Center in Mayfield, where dozens of residents and staff have tested positive. There also have been six COVID-19 deaths reported at the nursing home.

According to today’s update from the Graves County Health Department, nine of the new cases are in isolation at their homes and the 10th is being treated at a hospital. They include two women in their 20s, two women in their 80s, three women in their 90s, a man in his 80s, a man in his 50s. The person being treated in a hospital is a woman in her 80s.
