Graves County COVID-19 Positive Cases Now At 136

Mayfield, Ky.–The steadily increasing total of COVID-19 positive cases in Graves Co. is now at 136.

According to the County Health Department press release, the newest cases include: a woman in her 30s isolated at home; a man in his 60s isolated at home; two men in their 50s isolated at home; a woman in her 50s isolated at home; and a woman in her 90s isolated at home. A total 24 people in Graves Co. have recovered.

Health Department Director Noel Coplen said as businesses in Kentucky begin to reopen, “Let’s not endanger workers by not practicing social distancing.”

Positive cases in Marshall County and Calloway County are at 34 each, according to the state of Kentucky website.

According to Governor Andy Beshear at his briefing Thursday, there currently are 4,708 positive cases in the state, with 240 deaths. A total of 56,611 have been tested.
