Union City, Tenn.–Several Union City Middle Schoolers have been awarded Student Excel Awards for the 2019-20 school year.
The honors are presented annually to those UCMS students who post the highest average in their grade in multiple subject areas.
With schools having been dismissed since March 19 due to the coronavirus pandemic, the awards will be mailed to the recipients this year, according to UC Middle School Principal Lance Morgan.
Parents of the winners are encouraged to make photos of their children and submit them electronically to the school.
