McKenzie Man Killed In Two-Vehicle Crash

McKenzie, Tenn.–A 33-year-old McKenzie man was killed in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon in Carroll County.

According to the report released by Tennessee Highway Patrol Lt. Jena Eubanks, Corey Douglas was killed in the accident. His passenger, Jovi Garner, age 10 of McKenzie, was airlifted to Vanderbilt Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle, Amanda Crowe, age 28, of Martin, also was injured, but the extent of her injuries was not in the report.

According to the description of the crash, Crowe was driving a 2017 Toyota 4-Runner on Hwy. 79 both Crowe’s vehicle and Douglas’ 1999 Acura collided. Crowe’s vehicle overturned and Douglas’ came to rest on the roadway.
