Mark your calendars for a big Juneteenth Celebration on June 20 in Paris. It will be held from noon to 5 p.m.

The celebration will feature good food and fellowship, karaoke, vendors, live music and perforances, cake walk, dunking booth, bounce house, plenty of youth activities and more at the Eiffel Tower Park in Paris. The event is sponsored by the Paris-Henry County Ministerial Alliance.

Awards will be presented to: Harriett Tubman Freedom Award to Rev. Kenneth Humphreys; Resilience Award to Mrs. Alice Williams; Leadership Award to Jerry Pearson; and Selflessness Awards to Reggie Thompson and Ricky Ward.

The public is welcome.
