Puryear, Tenn.–The Puryear Baptist Church will be hosting a “Pets Unleashed” event and will be accepting donations for the Henry County Animal Shelter.

The event is set for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 24 at the church. A petting zoo will be on site and a Henry County Sheriff’s -9 unit will be there. Donations for their mission project will be accepted–dog food, bleach and paper towels.

A light snack will be served in the morning and lunch provided.
