
Paris, Tenn.–Dr. Blake Kennedy of Unmanned Aerial Systems at Murray State University told the kids all about drones as the Henry County Fairgrounds was bustling with activity Friday with Farm Fest 2026. A native of Puryear, Dr. Kennedy was once in the audience of presentations like this. Kids from schools in Henry County were there to see presentations from dozens of groups. The annual event is sponsored by the Henry County Farm Bureau. Paris Landing State Park brought the birds of Prey, Little Dipper – Jane & Mitch Latsch from Erin, TN, Dallas Bomar with a cotton gin demo, Poolers from Tri-Turf Sod, Tennessee Forestry Service, TWRA, Shannon Bomar with beef, Jan Foy & Ann Wilson brought their horses, Eliza Sinclair came with a donkey, piglets were with Jody Trout, Leslie Sensing with dairy goats.
