A chosen group of third- and fourth-graders at Union City Elementary School was rewarded for exemplary behavior and outstanding work ethic with a trip to Discovery Park of America last week.
The selected students were part of the school’s Discovery Kids program, which lauds youths for their character and classroom efforts. Teachers chose the honorees for the fun-filled day at the end of the final nine weeks of the 2025-26 school year.
Students explored the park’s many exhibits and participated in several activities to make the most of the treat.
School chaperones accompanied the honorees and also enjoyed many of the park’s attractions.
