Paris, Tenn.–Henry County Schools announced big changes for the 2026-2027 school year as Ryan Muench has been appointed new Henry County High School Principal and long-time principal Dr. Michele Webb will transition to the central office as part of the District Administrative Team. Pam McCord will serve as te principal of curriculum and instruction of grades 9-12.

Muench is current Grove School Principal, while McCord has been serving as Transition Principal for grades 9-12.

Dr. Webb has served as HCHS Principal for 10 years and said, “Serving as principal of Henry County High School has truly been an honor. When I first moved into this role and people asked how long I saw myself here, my honest answer was that I didn’t know—whether two years, five, or more. The Lord placed me here, and I knew He would lead when it was time to move. In a position where the national average tenure is around four years, I have been immensely blessed to serve for ten.

“Beginning this summer, I will transition to a position at our district office. I am excited to continue supporting the students, staff, and families of the Henry County School System in a new way. I am incredibly proud to be a Henry County Patriot and look forward to the amazing future in store for Henry County High School.”

In making the announcement, School System officials said, “We are excited to announce these important leadership updates that will take effect beginning with the 2026-2027 school year as we continue carrying forward the legacy of excellence in Henry County!”
